Basic Sewing Instructions
- Ages 6-18
- Individual Lessons or Groups up to 10
- 1-3 Hour Sessions
- $30hr: individual lessons
- $25hr: 2-5 students
- $20hr: 6-10 students
*Prices are per person
First Hour Covers
- Knotting Thread
- Basic hand stitches
- Buttons
- Basics of a machine
- Making a pillow (depending on experience and class size, this maybe a second hour project)
Project Courses: $45/ Materials Included $55
- Apron
- Reconstructing a garment
- An elastic waist skirt
Supplies Needed (Sewing Kits: $10)
- Fabric
- Needles
- Thread
- Pins
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape
- Thimble
Lessons will be conducted at your home or chosen facility, two additional sewing machines will be available, but use of your own sewing machine is highly encouraged, so you may become familiar with your make and model.
